Rewatching ManlyBadassHero's coverage of Slay the Princess found here. I watched this with Liz about 6 months ago, I'm a big fan! I didn't get to see all the new endings and plan to actually buy the game for that.

Either Liz or Cap'n mentioned Neon Genesis Evangelion and I mentioned I had completely dodged the series, so now the three of us are watching it together. I already knew about the Hospital Scene and love the parallel in episode 1. Wild seeing the show that spawned like 20 years of memes that've played right in front of my eyes, like a fucked up version of watching early Spongebob.

Finished the first two episodes tonight and I'm excited to see more about the mechs being very clearly alive. I haven't seen much - really any - mech anime and the premise was described to me in great detail by my lovely girlfriends.
